BillFast is a GST invoice suite for Indian freelancers. This page explains what we collect and why — in plain language. It is not a substitute for legal advice.
What we collect
- Account email and password (password is stored hashed).
- Invoice and client details you enter in the suite (seller, buyer, line items, notes).
- Payment unlock status when you buy lifetime access or redeem a flash coupon.
- Basic technical logs needed to run and secure the service (for example auth and API errors).
How we use it
- To run your account, invoices, PDFs, share links, and unlock features.
- To confirm Razorpay unlock payments via webhook / status checks when configured.
- To improve reliability and prevent abuse.
Payments
Lifetime unlock checkout is handled by Razorpay. Card and UPI details for that checkout are processed by Razorpay — not stored as full card numbers in BillFast.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We use infrastructure providers (hosting, database, auth, analytics) that process data only to operate BillFast. Public share links at /i/[token] show the invoice details you choose to share.
